Day 14 - Australian League Korfball

After a really heavy night most of the players had their first Australian sleep in. Today no official korfball program for the players. Jorge and Edwin had both a referee meeting and a coach meeting. Both planned at the start of a full day of korfball at the beautiful sport venue of Adelaide netball.

Jorge explained the new rules of korfball and discussed with coaches and referees different ways to interpret and to assess a game of korfball. The present coaches and referees discussed different situations and tried to apply new rules on the Australian way of korfball.

During the coaching session questions appeared on the way clubs should manage their training, focus on different parts of korfball and probably cooperate on bringing the quality of League korfball to a higher level.

In the afternoon most of the players watched some of the local league games with most of the A-grade teams, featuring national team players, showing their skills.

After the games most of the players enjoyed the hospitality of the host families.
