Day 10 - Reynella East College and Glenunga HS

Another beautiful day today. The sun was laughing at us as we woke up around 6.30 to take a long trip through the city to arrive early at Reynella East College.

Although mid-winter, we tended to play outside with a bunch of very skilled sportsmen from the 10th grade. They've never played korfball before but within 30 minutes some of them were shooting and running in the same way as we've seen in the Dutch league. Another class, under 7's, was really enthusiastic and played in small groups fast4 korfball. Tanned by the sunny morning and made happy by the smile of all kids we left this school of 1700 students by noon.

In the afternoon we were welcomed by the Othen's to grab a bite and discussed our afternoon program. From 1.30 pm we played an exhibition game at Glenunga High school. Orange played white. A stunning starts indoor with many scores from both sides. Running-in shots, back flips and no-look passes completed  two 10-minutes half's with a score of 18-16. The students loved the match and the final hour they were able to copy the Promoteam. With 6 groups of 4 players we played a tournament. Five matches per team and at the end the students challenged the Promoteam.

At night we start with a exhibition game and finish with a training.
