Day 12 - Heathfield High, Hahndorf winery and Glenelg - Boomers

Already Friday and time's flying. Not all of us arrived on time and not all of us who arrived on time were actually there. Enough stories to be told but more important was the fact that we arrived on a beautiful venue, in the middle of the Fernwood reserve at Heathfield High School.

Again two series of clinics, classes full of very agile sporty students who were on their last day before their two-week holiday eager to play korfball. Teachers very enthusiastic and most important a group that showed korfball skills within 20 minutes.

We started with a small demonstration of korfball playing 4 on 4. We ended up by inviting the students to copy our moves. Lot's of fun, many questions and a load of scores. At Heathfield they have the national student volleyball champion team but their is still an option to bring up a good korfgame to this area!

Germans, German food and Dutchies were present in the wine area around Hahndorf. A small town in the humid hills east of Adelaide. Chosen by numerous Germans in the past to  copy their white wine vineyards, now invaded by an international PromoTour team. We grab a bite at German Arms Hotel and left for a winery tour to The Lane, Adelaide hills.

Our evening program was arranged by Glenelg and Boomers. They invited us to train at Westminister. The team trained together with the locals, we played together with the locals and ended up with a small match Glenelg vs. PromoTour.
